Pet Box Rewards Program – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Pet Box Rewards Program! We love rewarding our loyal customers. By joining the program, you can earn points on your purchases and redeem them on future visits.

 

1. Joining the Program

1.1 The Pet Box Rewards Program is open to all Pet Box customers.
1.2 Joining the program is free.
1.3 Customers can sign up online at petbox.unipos.co.za.
1.4 The website petbox.unipos.co.za can also be used to view your rewards points and account balance.
1.5 By signing up for the program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Earning Rewards

2.1 Members earn 1% back in rewards points on all purchases, excluding items on special or promotion.
2.2 Members earn 2.5% back in rewards points on selected products, as identified by Pet Box. This excludes items on special or promotion.
2.3 Rewards points are automatically linked to your account when purchases are made at participating Pet Box stores.
2.4 Pet Box reserves the right to determine which products qualify as selected products for the higher rewards rate.
2.5 Rewards points cannot be exchanged for cash.

3. Exclusions on Rewards Points

3.1 While rewards points are earned on most purchases, certain products are excluded, such as Careliner Horse Trailers and Saddles.
3.2 Unfortunately, rewards points cannot be earned or redeemed on online purchases. The Pet Box Rewards Program is strictly applicable to in-store purchases only.

4. Pensioner Discount

4.1 Customers aged 60 years or older, who are registered on the Pet Box Rewards Program, qualify for a 10% discount on Wednesdays.
4.2 Kindly note that the discount must be requested at the point of sale and a valid Rewards number must be provided for verification.
4.3 No points will be accumulated on transactions where the pensioner discount is applied.We respectfully ask that customers request the discount at the time of purchase to ensure it is applied correctly.

5. Viewing Your Points

5.1 Members can view their points balance and rewards activity by visiting petbox.unipos.co.za and logging into their account.

6. Using Your Rewards

6.1 Rewards points can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases at Pet Box stores.
6.2 Rewards are linked to your account and may only be used by the registered member.
6.3 Rewards points cannot be transferred, sold or shared.

7. Points Expiry

7.1 Rewards points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned.
7.2 Points that are not used within one year will automatically expire and be removed from the account.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1 If a product that earned rewards points is returned or refunded, the corresponding points may be deducted from the member’s account.

9. Your Account

9.1 Members are responsible for ensuring their account details are correct and up to date.
9.2 Pet Box cannot be responsible for lost points due to incorrect information or unauthorized access to a member’s account.
9.3 Any misuse, abuse or fraudulent activity related to the program may result in membership being suspended or cancelled.

10. Changes to the Program

10.1 Pet Box reserves the right to update, change or discontinue the Rewards Program at any time.
10.2 This may include changes to how points are earned, redeemed or expired.

11. Privacy

11.1 Personal information collected through the Rewards Program will be handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

12. General

12.1 Participation in the Pet Box Rewards Program means you accept these Terms & Conditions.
12.2 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
